Course Description
Students will gain hands-on experience building multiple projects with the benefit of step by step instructions using Scratch. They will design, program and present their own unique programming projects. Teamwork skills will be necessary as students work in groups; time will be allotted for students to demonstrate what they have learned and experiment creatively.
Students will use Scratch to establish a programming foundation on which they will build an understanding of computational thinking. Using Scratch children will design, create and play their own unique programming projects while also improving their technical abilities and developing their problem solving skills.
Students will develop literacy, math and technical skills whilst they develop a multitude of programming projects. They will execute successful time management whilst developing essential team working skills, giving them the confidence and ability to problem solve individually and as part of a team.
