Course Description
Has your student ever wanted to be a spy? Do they have an affinity for James Bond or want to work with the bomb-defusing robots of the military? Or maybe they’ve seen “Big Hero Six” and want to have and build their own robots to complete missions. With the combination of Spybots and Mindstorms Robotics, students will have the chance to experience all of the above. They will start out with building their Spybots, and then controlling the bots with remote controls around the game board to complete missions as directed by the computer program. Later, Mindstorms kits will be used to build an array of different programmable robots that students will program to maneuver the board with light, touch, or ultrasonic sensors. Designed to bring out students’ creativity and imagination in technology, this camp will have kids geared up for engineering!
