Course Description
Has your child ever dreamed of being an astronaut? How about making his or her very own rocket to propel up into space? In this interactive camp, students will get a taste of the real thing. They will research, design, build, paint, and take home safe, water-propelled rockets that shoot 300-500 feet into the air! Then, we will explore the technology behind hot air balloons, and students will get to be the engineers of those as well. This camp combines science, technology, engineering, and math in a way that really takes off! At the end of the camp, parents and friends can join the class to help with the countdown and watch the launch!
