Course Description
Have you ever wanted to be a movie producer? What about making your favorite stories and dreams come to life on-screen? In this fun introductory-level filmmaking class, you will learn the basic of technological film production with green screen and stop-action animation. Climb Mount Everest, swim the depths of the ocean, or battle dinosaurs! Using a green screen and special photo-editing techniques, you will venture into real or imaginary locations and film the trip to share with friends. For both parts of this camp, you will become the writers, directors, actors, animators, special effects creators, and editors of your own movie production. From storyboarding to filming, you will make all of the creative & technical decisions. Stop-action animation will include shooting individual scenes with your own characters and scenery moving ever so slightly per scene to form a full feature. So come bring your imagination to life and present it on the big screen!
